The recruiting problem
Technology and cybersecurity talent is contested by every sector at once. Candidates expect fast processes and clear descriptions of the work, and many assume Federal technology roles are outdated or slow to hire. Reaching them takes outreach through the communities they trust and messages that describe the actual problems they would solve.
Roles we source
- Cybersecurity engineers, analysts, incident responders, and security architects
- Governance, risk, and compliance specialists, including FISMA and FedRAMP experience
- Cloud, infrastructure, and platform engineers
- Software engineers and product managers
- Data engineers, data scientists, and analytics leads
- IT program managers and technology executives
Where we find them
Security and engineering communities, professional associations and certification holders, conference and meetup speakers, open-source contributors, veteran and cleared-talent networks, and graduate programs in computer science and cybersecurity. Outreach leads with the mission and the technical problem, and it is specific about the tools, scale, and data involved.
Questions about technology recruiting
Can outreach mention special pay or hiring authorities for technology roles?
Only as your agency approves. If a position uses a special pay rate or a specific hiring authority, we include the approved description in outreach. We do not describe pay or eligibility beyond the announcement.
Do you source candidates who already hold security clearances?
We can prioritize candidates who say they hold a clearance, when your sourcing criteria ask for it. Clearance status is self-reported during outreach and is never verified or represented by us. Suitability and security determinations remain with your agency.
