This policy explains what information careerconsults.org collects from visitors and how we use it. It does not govern candidate information we handle under a Federal contract; that information is governed by the contract, including any Privacy Act and FAR privacy requirements it contains.
Information you give us
When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, agency or organization, role, email address, phone number, and message. We use it only to respond to you and to follow up about the work you asked about. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not share it except with service providers who host our website and email, under confidentiality obligations.
Information collected automatically
Our web host records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of request, to operate and secure the site. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we add website analytics, we will update this policy first.
Retention and your choices
We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of business correspondence, and then delete them. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information you have sent us by emailing success@careerconsults.org.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to stored messages is limited to Career Consults staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers or candidate records, through the contact form.
