Our commitment
Career Consults wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or voice control. We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, which exceeds the WCAG 2.0 Level AA standard that Section 508 references for Federal information and communication technology.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and landmarks
- A skip link and a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
- Text and interface colors that meet WCAG AA contrast ratios
- Layouts that reflow on small screens and at 400% zoom without horizontal scrolling
- Form fields with visible labels
- Respect for reduced-motion settings
Deliverables for agencies
Reports, recruitment materials, and event content we produce under contract are prepared to conform with Section 508. If a deliverable does not meet your agency’s accessibility requirements, we correct it at no additional cost.
